Bridgestone/Firestone created the 100 Who Serve Awards to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Firestone by recognizing that there are heroes all around us. More than 700 people across the U.S., representing every state and the District of Columbia, were nominated by friends and family members to receive this award.
We’ll be contacting print and broadcast media in your area to tell them about your award. If there’s a particular newspaper in which you’d like your accomplish ment to appear, or a particular station on which you’d like to be mentioned, please let us know. So the rest of your community will hear of your accomplishments, an ad has been scheduled to run in The Beaverton Valley Times, The Tigard-Tualatin Times & The Lake Oswego Review sometime between January 22nd and February 2nd. In addition, your 100 Who Serve Award certificate will arrive near the end of January. Your designated charity will receive its $2,000 donation from the Bridgestone/Firestone Trust Fund by the end of this month.
